Deep and melodic house virtuoso Enviado Vida, by way of alter ego Aftruu, returns to our imprint once again with "You're So Close," a visionary new 2-track EP. This time around, he has paired up with fellow Russian sensation Meeting Molly, an accomplished talent in his own right, who officially makes his Silk Music debut vis-à-vis this stellar release.

"You're So Close" begins with a chilled, hazy entrance, akin to the feeling of navigating a foggy labyrinth. A hypnotic bassline slowly emerges, giving the listener some sense of direction to follow through the maze. An array of vocal cuts reinforce the sense of aural confusion, as they reach out in various directions, while the bassline begins to rise with certainty. Vibrant keys ultimately light the pathway to the track's mesmerizing climax.

In "Polaroid," atmospheric pads set the stage for a haunting sonic experience -- one that truly feels lost in time. Distant vocal sweeps, coupled with melancholy piano motifs, evoke a profoundly mournful aura. Navigating the emotional landscape conjured by this song proves to be a challenging, though ultimately surmountable task, as the groove continues to progress with a sense of patient, yet steady momentum throughout the arrangement.
